Shop traditional Maasai Treasures at the Maasai Wilderness Pop-up!
In celebration of hosting twoMaasai tribesmen running the New York City Marathon this November, Moxy Times Square will be having a pop-up shopping experience on Thursday, November 1stto benefit the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust.
Moxy Times Square will welcome the athletes, David Kanai and Muterian Ntanin, by filling one of Bar Moxy’s studios with authentic treasures such as jewelry, blankets and other items– each hand crafted by nearly 185 Maasai women. All proceeds generated will go towards benefitting the women behind these Kenyan treasures. Guests who donate will be entered in a sweepstakes to win a 3 nights Safari for 2 in Kenya at MWCT’s partnered award winning luxury ecolodge, Campi ya Kanzi (Maasai.com).
Both David and Muterian will attend, dressed in traditional Maasai garb, as they eagerly await Sunday’s race!
