This class guides you through choosing the perfect pairings with your favorite Summer seafood dishes, as well as providing key characteristics of varietals and the principles behind pairing them. We will also compare and consider what is meant by common terms such as sweetness, body, alcohol, acidity, tannin and finish. Learn why certain combinations work and some don’t, how to avoid common pitfalls, and how to develop successful food and wine pairings on your own. It is our goal for you to leave this pairing session knowledgeable of the essential fundamentals of different pairing harmonies.
